Sofia
Gruchalla-Wesierski
In May 2020, Sofia will have graduated from Mount Royal University with a Bachelor’s in Communication — journalism, and a minor in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Throughout her studies she has learnt the importance of pushing herself out of her comfort zones. She is assertive when contacting and communicating with people that would normally intimidate her, and experiments with different ways of storytelling. She has realized how competition can enhance exceptional project execution, and through “pitch” competitions she has become a confident public speaker and incorporates creativity into all her projects.

Sofia plans to pursue a career in advertising, to best showcase the skills she has learnt over the last four years.
She looks forward to becoming a part of something greater as she enters the corporate world and learns from everything it has to offer.
